Abstract
This review focuses on Jana Hrdličková's book: Zweiter Weltkrieg und Shoah in der deutschsprachigen hermetischen Lyrik nach 1945 [Second World War and Shoah in German-language Hermetic Poetry after 1945], which is based on her habilitation thesis. The important contexts of the study are pointed out as well as its original contribution to literary studies explained.
